Frequently asked questions
Can we build an innovation strategy from scratch?
Yes. The work can formulate your innovation drivers or review an existing system. The starting point is the business priorities and the capabilities needed to deliver them.
How does senior leadership take part?
Leadership defines the objectives, the investment criteria and the portfolio decisions. The diagnostic also considers resource availability, management incentives and obstacles to execution.
Does MIRANDA support implementation?
The scope can include rolling out governance, periodic portfolio reviews and executive follow-up. Deliverables are organized in stages, combining short-term decisions with the development of the company's capabilities.
How is this different from Innovation as a Service?
In this offering, we structure or review innovation strategy and management in a project with agreed scope and deliverables. The work may include implementation support. In Innovation as a Service, MIRANDA runs the agenda and projects with your team on a recurring basis. The two offerings can be contracted separately or in sequence.
From Rodrigo Miranda's track record
68 projectsWhen the portfolio calls for a strategy review.
Mapping the portfolio against four innovation pillars found about 32% of projects outside them. The diagnostic separated misalignments from new opportunities to update the plan.
